Kanye West announces G.O.O.D. Music Album
Quick article i wrote about Kanye West announcing the G.O.O.D. music joint album..
Back in August of 2010 before he released his now critically-acclaimed album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Kanye West announced a up coming EP with Jay-Z named Watch The Throne. Of course that EP changed to a full length LP and is now one of this year’s lauded albums from the hip hop icons and now he looks to do it again with G.O.O.D. Music compilation album, which he announced on twitter and confirmed by Def Jam on their own twitter timeline later that day.
You can catch Mr. West later this month, when he takes the stage for the Watch The Throne North American tour with Jay-Z and rumored appearance on Kid Cudi’s hit HBO tv show, How to Make it in America which is in it’s second season right now.While the idea of a hip hop record label putting out a album with it’s artist on it, is far from new, Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. features a diverse mixture of music artist ranging from blue eyed soul singer, Mr. Hudson to socially conscious rappers Mos Def and Common to street drug dealing rapper, Pusha T to residence pothead turned rock star, Kid Cudi and finally the braggadocio bravado of Big Sean and CyHi Da Prynce. And of course, the soulfulness of John Legend will take any song to the next level. With normal Kanye contributors of Charlie Wilson, Jay-Z, Beyonce, J. Cole, Rihanna, and Rick Ross, this compilation album could potential be the album of the year for 2012(provided Jay-Z and Kanye West don’t drop solo albums in 2012).
